Ping Shu Yuan Spring Congee for 6 persons
250 g mixed grains (brown rice, black rice, barley, millet, oats)
50 g aduki beans
125 g mixed sprouts
3 l water
5-10 slices of ginger
3 stems of celery
6 cloves of garlic
1 big carrot
vegetable broth
An absolute winner for your breakfast in Springtime! During our stay in Tao Garden this January the food was delicious. The congee was our favorite breakfast. When we came home Ping invented her own version of the Tao Garden breakfast and believe it or not: this one’s even better….:-) Please try at home and get hooked!
